2026 Policies

Thank you so much for your continued trust and support. As we move into 2026, I’m sharing

updated policies to ensure clarity, fairness, and smooth scheduling for everyone moving forward.

Please take a moment to read through the information below before booking.

Payments

• Payments not received within 3 days of invoicing will incur a $30 late fee.

• Payments not received within 7 days of invoicing will incur a $50 late fee.

• Late fees will not be waived.

• Payment arrangements must be discussed and agreed upon prior to booking.

• Up to one week of payment flexibility may be allowed.

• A card must be kept on file and will be charged on the agreed-upon date. Please note the app

applies a 5% processing fee that I cannot waive.

• If payment is not received by the agreed date, an additional $25 fee will apply.

Payment methods

Initial 50% retainer / deposit can be paid through:

• PetPocketbook

OR

• Zelle 

• Cash pick-up (will be picked up within 3 days of the booking being made) 

 

Remaining balance can be paid through:

• PetPocketbook

OR 

• Zelle

• Secure cash drop — you may leave the cash in a secure place and notify me in the beginning of the stay where it is located so I can collect it before I depart.

Advance Bookings & Deposits

• Bookings made one month or more in advance require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold the

reservation.

• If a service is canceled, the deposit will be applied as a credit toward future services.

• This applies to bookings with a total invoice exceeding $200.

Reservation Hold

• A 50% retainer is required within 3 days of receiving your booking invitation to secure your requested dates.
• If the retainer is not received within 3 days, the booking request will be automatically released and the dates will reopen to other clients.
• Pet-A-Boo operates on a first-come, first-serve basis, and bookings are guaranteed once the retainer is submitted.
• If your original sitter becomes unavailable, you may still have the option to book with another Pet-A-Boo sitter if one is available.

Cancellations & Short-Notice Policies:

Dog Walking, Dog Hiking, Daycare, and Drop-In Visits

• Short-notice bookings (within 4 hours of start time): $5 fee

• Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% of service rate

• Weekend hikes include an additional $10 fee for dog hiking, as hiking is primarily offered as a

weekday enrichment service

Overnight Stays:

• Cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled start: 50% of service rate

Holiday Fee

All services booked on the following dates will include an additional $5 per day holiday fee:

Easter: 4/3 – 4/6

Memorial Day: 5/23 – 5/25

Independence Day: 7/3 – 7/6

Labor Day: 9/5 – 9/7

Veterans Day: 11/9 – 11/12

Thanksgiving: 11/25 – 11/29

Christmas: 12/23 – 12/25

New Year’s: 12/31 – 1/2

General 

• No-shows: If I arrive and your pet is not available or access is not provided, the service will be

charged in full.

• Emergencies: I understand unexpected situations happen. Exceptions may be made at my

discretion on a case-by-case basis.

Waste Removal

• Waste removal is included only for waste that occurs during the period our sitters are there

to care for your pets.

• Waste present prior to arrival is NOT included.

• If an excessive amount of waste is left behind, a cleanup fee will be applied.

Additional Pets

• Additional pet fees apply per pet.

• Reduced additional pet fees may apply for longer services and when services are booked for

multiple consecutive days

Reviews

• Receive 15% off your next invoice when a review is published on my Google Business page

following a completed service.

• Only one review discount may be applied per invoice.

• After your next scheduled service, you may submit another review and redeem a 15%

discount on a future invoice, as long as this offer remains active. Clients will be notified if this

incentive is discontinued.

• You may submit a review of a past service til 1/31/26 to redeem for an upcoming service.

Referrals

• For a referral to be eligible, the new client must mention your name at the time of booking.

• Once your name is mentioned, I will notify you and let you know when your referral reward is

available to redeem.

• A referral is considered successful once the new client completes their first paid service.

• Referral rewards may be redeemed at any time unless otherwise stated.

Referral Rewards

• You may choose one of the following for each successful referral:

– A free 30-minute walk

– A free 1-hour drop-in visit

– $25 account credit

• The referred client will receive $20 off their first invoice.

• Review and referral rewards may be combined.

Pricing Adjustments

Due to rising costs and increased school expenses, pricing adjustments will take effect on

January 23, 2026.

These changes will apply to:

• Drop-in visits (Now introducing budget-friendly alternatives)

• Pet taxi services

• Hourly in-home daycare

- Hiking

Final Notes

All services are non-refundable.
